Madrid, May 29, 2024.- Ingecom Ignition, an Exclusive Networks company, Value Added Distributor (VAD) specialized in IT cybersecurity solutions, OT/ICS cybersecurity, IoT and IoMT and cyber intelligence, signs a distribution agreement for Italy, Spain and Portugal with Mimecast, a global cybersecurity company.
Ingecom Ignition signs eight months after Ignition Technology closed the same distribution agreement in France. With these two alliances, Mimecast will develop relationships with new partners to help grow its business by gaining extensive sales, technical and marketing support to help its customers understand the challenges of securing email and collaboration tools.
Regarding the agreement, Javier Modúbar, CEO at Ingecom Ignition, comments that: “We continue to complement our portfolio of cutting-edge and leading solutions in line with the group’s strategy, this signature allows us to cover a technological area in our portfolio that all companies require to avoid email threats; we are proud that Mimecast has thought of Ingecom Ignition to support them and work together in Southern Europe.”
“At Mimecast, partnerships are core to our business, and we are eager to partner with organizations that will help us grow our business whilst they do the same, said Sébastien Weber, Regional Vice President, Southern Europe. “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Ingecom Ignition as they will help us achieve our goal of protecting current and future customers from advanced cyber threats.”
Threat protection, supercharged by AI
Mimecast has over 42,000 customers in more than 100 countries, protects 26 million end users, handles 2.7 million queries of email archive every week, and inspects an average of 1.5 billion emails every day.
The company offers AI-powered email security that blocks threats via two deployment options: Cloud Gateway, which is a 100% cloud-native secure email gateway solution and the Cloud Integrated option which enhances and extends protection for Microsoft 365. In January 2024 alone, Mimecast-protected systems blocked 250 million attacks, an all-time high for one month.
In addition to email security, Mimecast expands protections across many other risk areas with DMARC Analyzer, Mimecast Cloud Archive, Security Awareness Training, and collaboration security that helps protect Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive with an AI-powered turnkey solution.
Responding to the increasing sophistication of impersonation and business email compromise (BEC) attacks, Mimecast invests heavily in advanced AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities to help stop these attacks as part of a layered security model. In addition, the company has released version 2.0 of its CyberGraph product and added over 30 new capabilities to the Cloud Integrated Email Security solution.
